Just two years after its launch, SBCnews.co.uk marked a milestone 5,000th news piece last week following an interview with Mondogoal CEO Shergul Arshad.

SBCnews was created to provide the best in-depth news, analysis, knowledge, opinion and insight for the sports betting industry and has come a long way in two years of operation, attracting more than 50,000 users a month.

Managing Director at SBC, Andrew McCarron, said of the achievement: “We’ve been working hard to establish ourselves as one of the industry’s leading news portals, and it’s great to reach this milestone as quickly as we have done. We’ve a lot more in-store for 2016 and we’ll be making sure SBCnews continues to expand and provide the industry with reliable and high quality news and features.”

He added: “Having the piece with Mondogoal as the one which saw us hit 5,000 is particularly nice as it’s a company which had a similarly great 2015 and is on the up.”

Hailing from Boston but operating out of Isle of Man, Douglas and London Mondogoal is the largest daily fantasy sports site in Europe and boasts partnerships with Barcelona, Chelsea, Roma, Sports Interactive and more.

SBC also operates SBCmedia and SBCevents. The third installment of the annual and popular Betting on Football Conference will take place at the Emirates on April 21st.
