iGaming news source, eGaming Review reports that troubled real money social betting operator Bodugi Technology is set to sell its player database to sports betting Bet Butler.
Bodugi Technology had its igaming licence suspended by the UK Gambling Commission after it received complaints that customers could not withdraw funds from the operator. Last week Bodugi Technology’s management announced that it had taken the decision to stop its B2C operations, management claimed the operator would focus solely on B2B products.
Speaking with eGR, Bodugi Technology co-founder and COO Michael Wilson confirmed Bet Butler had acquired its consumer-facing site Bodugi.com customer database following discussions with a number of potential buyers.
Wilson said: “We’re now in the process of letting our customers know that the Bodugi.com database has been acquired by Bet Butler which will be honouring the customer balances.”
The purchase sum of Bodugi customer base has not been disclosed.
