Leo Burnett wins Betsson AB international advertising account

betssonStockholm-listed online betting operator Betsson AB has confirmed the appointment of London marketing agency Leo Burnett as its international advertising strategy and creative lead for Betsson.com

Leo Burnett has previously worked on creative and advertising strategies for Ladbrokes, won the business pitch run by marketing consultancy Agency Insight, beating Mullen Lowe London for the account.

The agency will now be tasked with delivering a digital-first high engagement consumer strategy for core brand Betsson.com within the key international markets of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Peru and Brazil.

The Betsson brand has previously used multiple agencies to lead its multi-market international advertising. The appointment of Leo Burnett will see Betsson marketing consolidate its advertising and creative planning under a central account.

Betsson AB continues to restructure its international marketing arrangements, in March the operator confirmed the appointment of agency Rocket London as lead media planner for betting brand Betsafe, revealing a seven-figure advertising account to promote the brand’s UK nationwide marketing campaign.
