Industry igaming content and games developer Yggdrasil Gaming (Yggdrasil) has strengthened its regulatory provisions by confirming that it has been awarded a Gibraltar B2B remote gambling licence by the ‘Gibraltar Licensing Authority’ (GLA)

The GLA B2B remote licence will allow for Yggdrasil to offer its platform and software services to Gibraltar-based operators, extending the firm’s European client reach.

Adding Gibraltar B2B Remote licencing, Yggdrasil operations now host three European jurisdiction licenses including; a UK ‘UKGC software and platform licence’ and a Malta ‘Class 4 operator provisions licence’.

On announcing the conformation of its new licence, Yggdrasil governance stated that its approved Gibraltar regulatory provisions would help the firm continue its ongoing commercial growth and new client partnerships

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of Yggdrasil, said: The Gibraltar licence really is an important piece of the jigsaw for Yggdrasil. We’ve had great success in Malta and things have been going really well since we received our UK licence in December.

“Gibraltar is a hugely important jurisdiction with a large number of major operators and we are delighted to become part of the Gibraltar e-gaming community.

“We’ve established a point of difference compared with other suppliers which will help us achieve our aim of becoming the best supplier in the industry.”
