The newly formed gambling solutions provider IGT (GTECH + International Game Technology merger) has confirmed the appointment of Francesco Rodano to its interactive gaming division.
Rodano joins IGT from Italian regulatory body Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (AAMS), and will take up the newly created role of Senior Director of Market Development & Strategy for IGT.
Industry news source EGR Magazine reports that Rodano will focus on developing the firm’s commercial strategy for interactive services and furthering market development competencies. Two key growth factors for the expansion of IGT’s newly merged interactive offerings.
Rodano joins from AAMS having led the body’s remote gambling regulatory division since 2007, where he played a key role in the regulatory process of Italian igaming services. He has further held senior management positions within Euler Hermes and Business International.
The appointment of Rodano to IGT’s interactive division will see the director relocate to the firm’s new headquarters in London.
