Enetpulse’s Jesper Kamp – challenging the current data offerings

ronaldo-reaqlmadridJesper Kamp, Business Development Manager at Enetpulse, discusses the firm’s new live betting data product and how the firm intends to challenge the current offerings on the market.

Enetpulse has just entered the football data supply sector. Why now and what do you offer that is not already on the market?

For quite a while we have felt the in-play betting data market needed a solid and innovative alternative. Based on our internal research and conversations with sportsbooks and B2B providers our assumptions were confirmed. Both in terms of coverage, quality of service and price. As in-play betting is bigger than ever before and the way is being paved for sports betting in many new regions of the world, we felt now was the right time to enter the market.

You said you want to provide bookmakers with more in-play football events which are not currently covered by other providers. Where did you have in mind? Will these relatively obscure markets be attractive to custom?

The short answer is, yes. Live betting is an around-the-clock business, and we aim to ensure bookmakers stay open 24/7 across all time zones. The requests from our clients for new in-play coverage has been overwhelming and as a result we have pinpointed several new markets with excellent growth opportunities. South America is one but we encourage any sportsbook or B2B provider to request our current coverage list to see where we can add the value they are missing out on with their current provider. We want to expand our offering in all territories, and will be adding further sports to our portfolio later this year.

From a technical aspect, what makes your JSON feeds such a compelling option for bookmakers?

Our JSON feed service is similar to the that which powered our highly successful official ATP/WTA tennis data service currently used by 30+ bookmakers worldwide. As a result the betting industry is already familiar with the feed structure and can do data integration fairly quickly.

Another key aspect is speed. Our JSON feeds sends small data packages which ensures faster data delivery to our clients. Further we use the JSON feed directly to update our own Live Match Viewer tools running Node JS where JSON is native to further enhance speed of data transmission.

Livesport.eu has recently invested big in Enetpulse. What opportunities does this bring the company?

Livesport.eu holds a lot of similarities with the business that has made Enetpulse market leader in the sports data industry: the timely and comprehensive coverage of thousands of sports events 24/7/365. By joining forces we believe the Enetpulse sports data portfolio will be strengthened even further and provide new and innovative solutions for sports media and sportsbook businesses worldwide.
