Tipster Profile: Gregor Terboven

tipster-gregor-terbovenGregor Terboven, a football tipping specialist on Bet Advisor, takes us through how he provides constant positive returns for his subscribers with 6 profitable months since March and +9.54% yield on his last 241 tips.

How did you first get into sports betting ?

I was in school. I watched and followed only football and knew all the details of many teams and leagues in Europe. I began to guess who will win a match and began to bet very small amounts to test your assumptions.

At what point did you realise that you can make some real money from sports betting?

Many of my assumptions proved profitable. I began to combine and betting bigger amounts. Then I started to get money from others in the school and they didn’t know how. Then I realised that I was really good at predicting football games.

How did you come to select football as your chosen sport?

All my friends played football. All talking, watching and betting on football matches and I had very good results and all my friends asked me what I thought of the matches of our favourite sport. Then I started to train regularly, I was the goalkeeper, and gained an even better feel and understanding of what the players do. I was semi-player.

Are there any particular events that you look forward to throughout the year?

I like the matches in the summer. Then there are few games and I was able to give good predictions in a limited choice. I love games in Scandinavia, because I know a lot of good teams out there, even semi. I often won a lot of money.

What was your best ever bet?

Betting is a process and takes time. I always say this to my subscribers and friends. Only one bet is not important. The best tipster is one that can many months in a row make a good profit. A winning bet on the 3-4-6 odds is means nothing if at the end of the period there is no profit. It is very difficult to have a long-term profit. One or two green months mean nothing to a motivated, ambitious and good tipster.

SBC News Tipster Profile: Gregor TerbovenSBC News Tipster Profile: Gregor TerbovenWhat kind of factors do you evaluate before making a selection?

The real reasons for one pick are not important for to subscribers, if they trust me. They know that I know something that very few people know or know that I lead them in the way of profit and trust me. I appreciate market trends, know better teams and have many new channels for inside info.

What has been the biggest influence on your betting career?

The help that I received from one of my constant friend who is a professional bettor and won all his money from betting. He revealed many secrets and details and helped me find many new sources of information and to appreciate many factors outside football.

Do you have any future plans in regards to your service?

Everyone can see that I follow certain leagues that I know well. To propose a new pick from another league I have to study very well the area. Now this season I started to give predictions and from Turkey. If I add new leagues I need time to test the channels of information and many other small details. I will add new leagues, but only if they are profitable.

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your betting career?

I have saved many months that start with awful lot of bad picks and losses. After many of them lost money, my subscribers are getting nervous and I know that, but I give the best of me and several months after big loss have proved a very good profit. I am proud that I’ve done it many times.

How do you balance your betting time and family life?

I am a very disciplined person! Every day I start the day with an overview of the entire football drawing for the day, and I always have a mobile device, which includes the Internet. Only when I sleep I am not online and I can always react. So I keep an eye on everything and spend time only when there is something really good for my subscribers. I live normally but always work. Often the best deals come at the end of the day when I have researched the whole market and I examined everything.

moneyDo you have a favourite team that you follow regularly?

My favourite team is the one who understands my predictions and giving money to me and my subscribers. I do not have a favourite team because I am a professional tipster and I know that is only important to have a good long-term profit and teams often give us money are my favourite teams. I do not like to bet many times on the same team.

How do you keep calm when you hit a run of losing bets?

I always think about the money my subscribers have invested. When I have a bad run I don’t change the concept. I take a break or start to give picks only on teams that I know really well in details.

How do you organise your bank management?

Each subscriber should follow security levels because then you are clearly able to understand what amount to bet. I think every game should have own security in order to be most useful to subscribers. If all forecasts have the same level it will probably be very difficult for readers, and suggests that the tipster does not know which forecast is better and which is not.

What is the best reason you could give to anyone who was thinking about following your service?

I promise not large yield this month or next, but yield, to earn good money in many months in a row. Yield that covers the costs for my clients and provides a good constant earnings from betting each month. Not one or two months with a very big win and then two or three with a loss – many consecutive months with a good profit.
